CONDITION:
This beautiful Red Candy Dish has been in our family for many years and was part of my Aunt’s collection.  I found some marks throughout that appear to be factory made and/or normal wear.   One on the handle could be a very small flea bite.  There is a “bubble” inside one of the moon designs around the top.  Otherwise, free of any other flaws that I can see.  This dish has been kept behind a glass enclosed cabinet and has been well taken care of in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.
DESCRIPTION:
This is a beautiful Amberina (red & Amber) glass candy dish, round shaped with a scalloped edge around the top.  It has a split handle that makes it appear to be a basket.  It sets on a 1/2″ wide base;
Ideal for nuts, candies, or even a small flower arrangement;
There is no mark but believed to be LE Smith and pattern “Moon & Stars”;
Approximate measurements are:  6″ Tall (including handles); 4 1/2″ wide across top of dish; Base measures 1/2″ thick and 3 1/4″ wide across; Dish has inside depth of approximately 2″.
